Widower: Monsanto Liable For Wrongful Death From Exposure To Herbicide Roundup

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - A widower on Oct. 22 sued Monsanto Co. in Alabama federal court contending that the company is liable for the wrongful death of his wife due to her exposure to glyphosate, the active ingredient in the herbicide Roundup, which he contends caused her to develop cancer (Roy McMahan v. Monsanto Co., et al., No. 19-1722, N.D. Ala.).
