Unravelling functional neurology: does spinal manipulation have an effect on the brain? - a systematic literature review

ConclusionThe available evidence suggests that changes occur in ‘brain function’ in response to spinal manipulation but are inconsistent across and - sometimes - within studies. The clinical relevance of these changes is unknown. It is therefore premature to promote the use of spinal manipulation as a treatment to improve ‘brain function’.
