13.1 sexual attraction and relationships
The goal of this session is to enhance clinicians ’ skills and comfort in taking a sexual and relationship history. A key developmental task of adolescence is gaining a better understanding of one’s sexuality and identity. An important consideration in working with children and adolescents is learning how to both listen for and talk about sexua l identity, sexuality, sexual orientation, and the inherent feelings, experiences, and behaviors.
