What's the role of ACE- inhibitors in myocarditis?

I've been looking after a 26 year old man who was diagnosed with myocarditis on the basis of history and a cardiac MR about 6 months ago. He has residual scar on a scan 6 months later.  The LV function however is normal. Do ACE- inhibitors have a role here?sadian
