Comparison of sodium tetradecyl sulfate, bleomycin, and talc powder for rat pleurodesis induction

This study demonstrates the efficacy of STS for induction of pleurodesis in rat; however, further studies should be done for evaluation of its safety and efficacy in human subjects.
