Healthy, improved ecosystems will provide diversified sustainable livelihoods to communities and better shelter Bangladesh’s vulnerable population from tropical cyclones and other negative impacts of climate change. Intact forests and wetlands will also sequester CO2 and other greenhouse gases to mitigate the effects of climate change.Bagh will be similarly aligned with Government of Bangladesh (GOB) strategies and action plans.
