Found objects: a curious case of constipation

A 91-year-old grandmultiparous woman presented to the emergency department with severe abdominal pain. CT scan showed large stool burden consistent with chronic constipation (Fig. 1). CT scan also revealed a pessary completely in the bladder and presence of an intrauterine device (Fig. 2). On pelvic examination, the cervix was unable to be located due to patient discomfort.
