Improving diagnostic performance of 18F-FDG-PET/CT for assessment of regional nodal involvement in non-small cell lung cancer

To assess the diagnostic performance of combined 2-[18F]-fluoro-2-deoxy-d-glucose (18F-FDG) positron-emission tomography (PET)/computed tomography (CT) mediastinal blood pool (MBP) activity cut-off for staging nodal involvement, and to examine other variables that may improve the diagnostic performance of PET/CT in non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC).
