Herein, we report the design of an electrochemical array with quantum dot (QD) decorated multi-walled carbon nanotube (MWNT) framework to perform the direct detection of multiple picomolar concentrations of insulin, an important biomarker for diagnosing diabetes, in physiological buffer.
