Panel Vacates, Remands Water Contamination Case For 'Fact Intensive Inquiry'

WASHINGTON, D.C. - A panel of the Federal Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals on July 19 vacated and remanded a case for a "fact intensive inquiry" regarding the accrual of claims brought by two California water districts against the U.S. government related to hexavalent chromium contamination in local groundwater (Rio Linda Elverta Community Water District, et al. v. United States, No. 2018-1761 and No. 2018-1762, Fed. Cir., 2019 U.S. App. LEXIS 21399).
