Neilsen Psychosocial Research Grant Craig H. Neilsen Foundation Announces New Funding Initiative for Psychosocial Research in the Spinal Cord Injury Field Regions: United States and Canada Letter of intent closes: 4/15/2013 Grants: $75,000-$150,000/Year The Craig H. Neilsen Foundation announces the launch of its new Neilsen Psychosocial Research Grants initiative, open to eligible organizations conducting research on the interrelation of psychological, social and other quality of life factors that will benefit individuals living with spinal cord injury (SCI). Under this competitive grants process, the three funding levels include Post-Doctoral Psychosocial Fellowships, Pilot Psychosocial Research and “Proof of Concept” Psychosocial Research, with grant awards ranging from $75,000 to $150,000 per year. The Neilsen Foundation is specifically interested in research that focuses on one, or more, of the following areas: Aging, Caregiving, Employment, Health Behaviors and Fitness, Independent Living, Self-Management and Technology Access. The Neilsen Psychosocial Research Grant application process begins with submitting a required Letter of Intent (LOI) due by April 15, 2013.
