Rehospitalization and resource use after inpatient admission for extracorporeal life support in the United States

With increasing dissemination and improved survival after extracorporeal life support, also called extracorporeal membrane oxygenation, the decrease in readmissions after hospitalization involving extracorporeal life support is an emerging priority. The present study aimed to identify predictors of early readmission after extracorporeal life support at a national level.
