Laparoscopic Sleeve Gastrectomy for Class III Obesity in a Patient with a Left Ventricular Assist Device (LVAD) Heartmate III

We describe the successful management of an obese patient suffering end stage heart failure(ESHF) by the combination mechanical circulatory support using a LVAD and bariatric surgery using laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy(LSG).
