Request for Proposals: National Psoriasis Foundation Medical Dermatology Research Fellowship Purpose: The National Psoriasis Foundation is pleased to announce the availability of the Medical Dermatology Research Fellowship grants for the academic year 2015-2016. The program provides support to eligible institutions to develop and enhance the opportunities for physicians training for research careers in academic dermatology. Priority consideration will be given to applications that advance psoriatic disease research. Anticipated number of awards: It is anticipated that as many as 13 new NPF fellowship grants will be awarded in 2015. Awards are contingent on the availability of funds and the receipt of sufficiently meritorious applications. Budget and Project period: NPF Fellowship Awardees will receive a maximum of $50,000 to support their fellowship stipend. Institutions are to certify that funds will be applied toward stipend, salary and fringe benefits only, and not to be used for any indirect cost. These funds are non-renewable. Eligibility: Department Chairs and Fellowship/Residency Program Directors at institutions in the United States with fellowship programs may nominate a fellow.
