239 Age of atopic dermatitis onset influences longitudinal disease control and persistence in children

Atopic dermatitis (AD) is a heterogeneous disease, variable in its timing of onset and disease course across children. To understand how the age of AD onset impacts longitudinal disease control and persistence, we performed a cohort study using the Pediatric Eczema Elective Registry, a U.S.-based longitudinal cohort of children with AD. In total, 8015 subjects who were 2-17 years old at the time of registry enrollment were followed for a median of 5.3 (IQR 1.1-9.9) years. Age of AD onset was self-reported.
