An evaluation of the use of a lateral wedged insole and a valgus knee brace in combination in subjects with medial compartment knee osteoarthritis (OA).

CONCLUSION: All parameters except stride length and KAM in comparison with first day of wearing interventions improved significantly in the combined, concurrent usage group. The use of a lateral wedge insole and a valgus knee brace in combination can improve the kinetic and kinematic parameters in patients with medial compartment knee OA.
