Development of Dysfunctional Beliefs and Attitude about Sleep Scale for Cancer Patients.

CONCLUSIONS: The C-DBAS-14 is a promising measure that has adequate internal consistency. It is also sensitive to sleep-related cognitions in cancer patients and can discriminate patients with cancer who are experiencing insomnia from those who are good sleepers. The enhanced utility of the shortened 14-item scale tailored specifically to cancer patients may be useful in both clinical practice and research settings.
