UPMC plans second hospital in Sicily
UPMC is planning a second hospital in Italy as part of a 10-year renewal of the management agreement with the Region of Sicily on its transplant hospital in Palermo.
The agreement announced Tuesday involves Istituto Mediterraneo per i Trapianti e Terapie ad alta specializzazione (ISMETT), which Sicily and UPMC began in 1997.
