The mediating role of hardiness in the relationship between perceived loneliness and depressive symptoms among older.

CONCLUSION: Older people with higher level of perceived loneliness reported less hardiness. Lower levels of hardiness, in turn, correlated with increased self-reported depressive symptoms.
