Palliative Care Matters: Commitment to Action Toward an Integrated Palliative Care Strategy for Canada

Palliative Care Matters (PCM) is a collaboration intended to develop a consensus toward optimal palliative care for all Canadians. An inaugural steering committee of 14 national stakeholders included government representatives, healthcare providers, non-governmental organizations, and patient-family advocates. The collective impact framework (CIF) was employed to identify 30 additional stakeholders from across Canada to develop an action plan for an integrated palliative care strategy (IPCS).
