Clarifying the Houston Consensus on Helicobacter pylori

We read with interest the recently published Houston consensus document on testing for Helicobacter pylori infection in the United States.1 We were pleased to see that the authors ’ recommendations, for the most part, aligned with those made in the recently published H pylori management guideline from the American College of Gastroenterology (ACG).2 We also applaud the authors for tackling a number of controversial topics that were not addressed in the ACG guideline.
