EP News: Case Reports
Primary cardiac tumors are rare and vary in their clinical manifestations. Some of the arrhythmia manifestations are sustained ventricular tachycardia (VT) and sudden death. If possible, symptomatic surgical resection is an upfront therapy. Haskova et al (DOI: https://doi.org/10.1016/j.hrcr.2018.10.007) shared a case of a 34-year-old man who presented with multiple repetitive monomorphic VTs of different morphologies. Cardiac magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) revealed a large intramyocardial tumor with features consistent with a fibroma.
