Removal of diseased emphysematous tissue with bronchoscopic thermal vapor ablation (BTVA)

Conclusion: BTVA typically removes mass of ablated diseased segments and increases mass in healthier segments. Additionally, data from these measurements may result in ways to better identify BTVA responders and continue to improve on good patient outcomes.
