Inflammatory mediators in eosinophilic COPD phenotype and asthma with fixed airflow obstruction

Conclusions: IL-5 is not associated with eosinophilic COPD. Upregulated IL-5 is noted in asthma with FAO. CXCL-8 and IL-17 play roles in asthma with FAO and COPD.
