Acei vs. non-acei induced angioedema: when to intubate?

Angioedema is a life-threatening condition requiring immediate medical intervention, especially when it involves the oropharynx. Angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors (ACEi) are one of the most common causes of angioedema. The purpose of this study was to elucidate the difference in clinical features and outcome of patients with ACEi induced angioedema versus other causes, and identify intubation predictors.
