Novel magnetic nanoparticle supported ionic liquid as an efficient catalyst for the synthesis of spiro [pyrazole-pyrazolo[3,4-b]pyridine]-dione derivatives under solvent free conditions

The magnetic catalyst could be separated from the reaction mixture with the assistance of an external magnet. The catalyst was characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), scanning electron microscope (SEM) and energy-dispersive X-ray spectroscopy (EDS). Furthermore, the structures of the new compounds were fully characterized by their spectral data IR, 1H NMR, and 13C NMR.Graphical abstract
