Volumetric Airway Analysis Following Maxillomandibular Advancement Surgery for the Treatment of Obstructive Sleep Apnea: Preliminary Results
Maxillomandibular advancement surgery (MMA) is a well-established treatment option for patients with moderate to severe OSA1,2. The primary objective of this prospective study is to quantify pharyngeal airway volume changes in patients who have undergone MMA surgery for treatment of OSA, and determine the relationship between airway changes and changes to the post-operative Apnea-Hypopnea Index (AHI).
