Prevalence of Infections After In-Office Hysteroscopies in Premenopausal and Postmenopausal Women
ConclusionThe present study suggests that routine antibiotic prophylaxis is not necessary prior to hysteroscopy because the prevalence of infections following in-office hysteroscopy is low (.06%).
