The importance of ldl-cholesterol and triglycerides levels assessment for familial hypercholesterolemia screening in the middle-aged Lithuanian adults

Aim: The aim of this study was to elucidate whether assessment of triglycerides (TG) levels together with LDL-cholesterol (LDL-C) levels can help to distinguish mixed hyperlipidemia from familial hypercholesterolemia (FH) and improve the diagnosis of FH.
