Interfacial reinforcement in a poly-l-lactic acid/mesoporous bioactive glass scaffold via polydopamine

This study suggested that the PLLA/p-MBG scaffold may have a potential application in tissue engineering.Graphical abstractGraphical abstract demonstrated the preparation and performance tests of poly-l-lactic acid (PLLA)-based scaffolds. Polydopamine modified mesoporous bioactive glass (p-MBG) was prepared by oxidation self-polymerization of dopamine in a tris(hydroxymethyl) aminomethane hydrochloride buffer solution (Tris-HCL). Scaffolds were prepared by selective laser sintering process (SLS).
