With great interest we read the article “Comparison of changes in mGCIPL thickness between medically and surgically treated eyes with advanced glaucoma,” by Inuzuka and associates,1 published in your esteemed journal in March. The research question of change in ganglion cell thickness over a long follow-up is important. The article ha s tried to bridge the gaps in knowledge in this field and has definitely added to the limited literature available; however, the following are our observations.
