379 Quality of life in children with ichthyosis

Ichthyoses are genetic skin disorders characterized by scaly, variably red skin caused by mutations in over 30 genes. Excluding ichthyosis vulgaris and X-linked ichthyosis, these are rare disorders and limited access to patient data has hindered clinical investigation. Employing data from the National Registry for Ichthyosis and Related Skin Types, we examined quality of life in 133 affected children between the ages of 4 and 16 who completed the Children ’s Dermatology Life Quality Index (CDLQI).
