566 Acne core outcomes research network: Progress in core outcome set development in clinical trials

The Acne Core Outcomes Research Network (ACORN) is an international group of clinicians, researchers, statisticians, patients, journal editors and industry investigators whose objective is to develop a core outcome set for use in acne clinical trials. Following the methodologies outlined by the Harmonizing Outcome Measures in Eczema (HOME) group which included 3 rounds of a Delphi exercise, in 2017 ACORN identified the following core outcome domains: satisfaction with appearance; long-term control of acne, extent of scars and dark marks, satisfaction with treatment received, signs and symptoms of acne, and health-related quality of life.
