An exploratory study of social problems experienced by ambulatory cancer patients in Japan: Frequency and association with perceived need for help
ConclusionsA substantial proportion of participants had cancer‐related social problems, but they had ambivalent help‐related needs. Interventions that enhance the patient's abilities for self‐care could be essential to help cancer outpatients manage social problems in Japan.
