[Diverticular disease : Complications and differential diagnosis].

CONCLUSION: According to the new S2K guidelines the subdivision of diverticulitis should be implemented using the so-called classification of diverticular diseases (CDD). This enables a stratification of patients for outpatient or inhospital treatment.
