Specifically, it seeks to expand PMTCT coverage and improve uptake from approximately 34% to 90% in the Littoral and Center Regions of Cameroon, by integrating and scaling up PMTCT services into existing health facilities and promoting community-based PMTCT activities, including rolling out Option B+ following the national plans and guidelines. Cameroon has developed a national roll out plan. The national plan for phased-in Option B+ roll-out would cover 247 sites in the four PEPFAR-supported regions (500 sites nationwide) in 2014, 691 (1,500) sites in 2015, 1,141 (2,500) sites in 2016, and 1,379 (3,000) sites in 2017.
