ConclusionBasic nursing care seems to be largely invisible in nursing education, especially at the bachelor level and during theoretical education.
Relevance to clinical practiceImproved basic nursing care will enhance nurse sensitive outcomes and patient satisfaction and will contribute to lower healthcare costs.
