Comparative assessment of conventional papanicolaou and modified ultrafast papanicolaou stains in fine needle aspiration samples and body fluids
Conclusion: Our study concluded that MUFP stain could be considered as a rapid and reliable diagnostic tool and can be applied on a regular basis in FNA samples and body fluids to offer immediate diagnosis. However, caution should be taken while reporting certain MUFP-stained smears to avoid over/under diagnosis.
