Association between Antioxidant Enzyme Activities and Enterovirus-Infected Type 1 Diabetic Children
Conclusion: The present data indicate that enterovirus infection correlates with decreases in the antioxidant enzyme ac tivities in the T1D-EV+ group when compared to T1D-EV¯ group, which may contribute to β-cell damage and increased inflammation.
