Targeted Tonsillar Biopsy for Unilateral Tonsillar Enlargement.
CONCLUSION: There is a very low prevalence of unsuspected and suspected malignancy in routine and targeted examination of tonsillar specimens. It is reasonable to test based on other clinical findings and risk factors such as immunosuppression.
