Temporary tracheal stenting for airway obstruction in a neonate after pulmonary artery sling repair
Conclusion: Neonatal airway stenting is performed very rarely because of possible severe complications. In a few selected cases, the benefits of this technique may outweigh these potential risks. In this case, transient airway stenting was an effective therapy in a neonate with tracheal stenosis and additional tissue following trachea perforation.
