SkinCare for Developing Countries Grants Program Submit a request by Dec. 15, 2014 for 2015 grants. The American Academy of Dermatology offers grants to individuals and organizations to fund international volunteer and humanitarian projects under the SkinCare for Developing Countries program. Grants vary between $2,500 and $5,000 depending on the proposal, scope of the project, and availability of funds. Proposals must: Support the Academy’s strategic framework. Be related to dermatology and/global health care, and serve beneficiaries in underserved regions of the world. Be sustainable, community-based, and rely on additional sources of funding. Demonstrate how the project would be monitored and evaluated. Be submitted online (no emails). In addition, Academy members and non-members are eligible to apply for the grants. Multi-year projects can be funded for up to three years.
