Request for Proposals: Sulzberger Institute Grant Deadline: Jan. 10, 2015 The Sulzberger Institute for Dermatologic Education, part of the American Academy of Dermatology, provides grant support for innovative initiatives in education and technology. Grants typically provide seed funds to help dermatologists begin projects that eventually can improve patient care. Applications from residents, fellows, and young dermatologists are encouraged. The Sulzberger Institute for Dermatologic Education Committee is interested in receiving proposals for technology-based teaching applications that are novel and cutting-edge, and that also further clinical education in dermatology. Applications that incorporate these concepts are encouraged. Winning proposals will be selected by the Sulzberger Committee with final approval by the AAD board of directors. Proposals from dermatologists who are members of the Academy will be given preference; however, all proposals that are designed to develop technology for dermatology education will be considered.
