A Finger-Worn Ring Sensor to Capture Hand Movements in an Ambulatory Setting

This study investigates the use of a miniaturized finger-worn sensor, combined with a wrist-worn sensor, to measure the amount of hand use in the ambulatory setting. The sensors were validated using a set of 11 motor tasks representing various activities of daily living.
