Low body mass index analysis is associated with obstruction severity in chronic obstructive pulmonary disease patients in Romania
Aim: Low body mass index (BMI) has been linked to an increase in overall mortality in patients with severe chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Current global obesity epidemic is changing the nutritional profile of COPD patients. We sought to determine the association between COPD severity and BMI.
