The validity of DSM ‐5 severity specifiers for anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, and binge‐eating disorder

DiscussionResults demonstrated limited support for the validity of DSM‐5 severity specifiers. Future research is warranted to explore additional validators and possible alternative indicators of severity in EDs.
