Fort Smith Nonprofit Clinic Names New Director

The Good Samaritan Clinic in Fort Smith announced on Monday that Patti Kimbrough has been hired as its new executive director, effective immediately. The Fort Smith native has more than 25 years of experience in nonprofit fundraising and marketing in northwest Arkansas, the nonprofit said. Kimbrough has worked for the Alzheimer’s Association, University of Arkansas’ Athletic Department, Susan G. Komen Ozark Affiliate, Fayetteville Chamber of Commerce and West Virginia University’s School of Nursing. She most recently served as director of community relations and development for the Ozark Guidance Center, a mental health organization based in Springdale. "Her strategy is simple: engage everyone, tell Good Samaritan Clinic’s story, equip its leadership with the tools to grow our reach and raise more dollars, ultimately making a bigger difference in the place we call home," the clinic said in a news release. The nonprofit provides on-site, affordable health care for the working poor, children, elderly and the homeless, including medical care, counseling, limited dental services, chiropractic care, optical care, health education and preventative care.
