Murj launches cardiac device data consolidation platform

Murj said today it is launching its cardiovascular device data consolidation program, with plans to present the platform at the Heart Rhythm Society’s scientific sessions conference later this week. The Santa Cruz, Calif.-based company’s technology platform  is a cloud-based, HIPAA-compliant application that’s designed to consolidate data from implanted pacemakers and defibrillators to help deliver rapid clinical care and insights into patient health. “This technology is already having an impact on how I approach patient care. The interface is elegant, providing rapid insight about past impressions, transmissions and care protocols, saving me time for patient engagement. Equally important, Murj makes my practice far more productive, contributing to better staff satisfaction and clinic performance,” Dr. Christopher Oh said in a prepared statement. “We are excited to share our solution with the electrophysiology community at HRS and beyond. Our mission is to enhance the lives of cardiac care professionals and their patients through a well-designed and innovative device management platform, and we truly believe Murj delivers on that goal,” CEO Todd Butka said in a press release.
