We: thank Peggy Zuckerman and Mark Reifsteck, who have left the board, welcome Judy Danielson and Bruno Nardone to the board, acknowledge Mandi Bishop and Ken Yale whose board service commenced last fall, and announce Susan Woods as president-elect. All are extraordinary professionals who have dedicated their careers to helping others.  We are grateful for their service and friendship. Jonathan Wald, our immediate past president, has strengthened the Society during his tenure as president. I was privileged to work closely with Jon in 2016 and look forward to working with him in 2017. He has our gratitude for his leadership. Thank you for permitting me to serve as the Society’s 2017 president. My interest in advancing our mission is deep; my commitment steadfast.  You have my pledge to build upon the strong legacy that preceded me. The Society’s work is accomplished through four pillars: Community, Advocacy, Research, Education.  Recently, many members have expressed new interest in helping to advance the Society and its mission. We are thrilled with this commitment are exploring efficient ways to capture it and will be in touch on it shortly.  We are nearly 500 strong.  SPM’s best days are ahead. Together, we will accomplish a great deal. THANK YOU for your membership and support.  Don’t be a stranger! If I can be of service, ...
