Nationwide Children's saved $1.36M with small-scale electronic-records initiative

Joint research by Nationwide Children's Hospital and the medical data analytics program at Ohio State University suggests that hospitals can significantly reduce spending on health care by learning from the data of a small group of similar patients and working outward – rather than trying to fix the whole problem at once.
